Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

Gift vouchers are only good for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable with cash or another voucher and will be automatically forfeited. Any additional cost exceeding the value of a voucher will be paid by the redeemer.

  • gift vouchers will be considered null and void without a Voucher Code and Authorized Signature/Name on the voucher itself.
  • gift vouchers will not be replaced when lost, damaged or stolen.
  • in the event of any dispute, the decision of Aussie Air is final
  • Aussie Air reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • voucher validation is required by authorized administration only
  • gift vouchers entitle the bearer to redeem the product specified on the voucher
  • any voucher bookings that are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be forfeited
  • bookings are essential and subject to availability and weather conditions.
  • Non-refundable after purchase

Bookings can be made by phone, fax or e-mail. Bookings will only be confirmed by return fax or e-mail within 24 hours after the following information is provided:

  • Date of tour
  • Tour name / code
  • Passenger full name
  • Accurate Passenger weight – this is a Civil Aviation Safety Authority legal requirement
  • Number of passengers
  • If children are travelling please specify their age and weight
  • Location
  • Specials (e.g. Marriage proposal/medical conditions)
  • Letter of approval for any landing requested on private property

For phone bookings, should written confirmation be required, please advise our reservations department at the time of booking.

Passengers must arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

Minimum/Maximum numbers – weight restrictions may apply


Minimum of 2 Adults or 1 Adult and 2 children. ( R-44 has 3 passenger seats)

Cessna 172

Minimum of 2 Adults or 1 Adult and 2 children. ( Cessna 172 has 3 passenger seats)

R-44 & Cessna 172 ONLY

the third seat will be offered at 50% off the Adult price, when travelling with 2 paying Adults.

EC-120 and B206

All seats are sold at the full rate. ( EC120 and B206 have 4 passenger seats)

Disabled passengers

Please advise the level of assistance required and whether the passengers are in a wheelchair so that we can accommodate their needs with ease. Staff are not permitted to lift any passengers.

Please note that our ground vehicles are not equipped with a lifting device and we suggest the use of specialist taxi’s (at own cost) with lifting devices in the event the passenger has very limited or nil mobility.

Child Age / Infant Policy

Infants are classified as 0-2 years, and may travel free of charge, on the lap of an adult.  Please note that only one infant may travel per aircraft.  Children classified as 3 – 12 years of age inclusive, and must be accompanied by an adult on the flight.

2 children can share 1 seat if they are 12 or under and their combined weight is less that 77kg.

Fuel Surcharge

In the event of significant upward shifts in the cost of aviation fuel, we reserve the right to introduce a fuel surcharge. This shall be advised in writing no less than 2 months prior to its commencement, and will be additionally advised at the time of booking confirmation. At the date of this advice the Fuel Surcharge amount will be advised and this amount will be subject to further changes at our discretion.  The fuel surcharge is payable directly to us by the client prior to travel and is non-commissionable.


All scenic flights include personalised commentary by the pilot. All tours and safety briefings are conducted in English.

Prior notice is required and we will assist where able to translate into other languages

Luggage Restrictions

Luggage (where applicable) is normally restricted to cabin sized, soft luggage only and a maximum weight limit of 10 kilograms per person.  Suitcases and additional luggage may be carried on the same flight subject to loading availability and at the discretion of the Pilot/company.  If the luggage does not travel on the same flight, luggage may be transported at an additional cost to the client.

Passengers must arrive at Airways Aviation 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

Cancellation policy and payment conditions

  • Less than 24 hours notice – NON-REFUNDABLE
  • From 24 hours and up to 7 days – 50% fee will be charged per booking.
  • If charter is cancelled by Aussie Air we will reschedule charter but if not suitable to client a full reimbursement will be made.

Conditions of Quote

Aircraft charters R-44, EC120 , B206 & Cessna 172 are quoted on the basis of the full aircraft hourly rate. Please note that the quote amount is an approximate price for your charter. Charter details are subject to change due to aircraft traffic delays, aircraft availability or weather conditions. Additionally, client ad hoc requirements on the day may increase the flying time and therefore the client will be subject to an additional payment over and above the original quote.

Payment of any additional charges must be made on the day of the charter.

Payment Terms

Overdue accounts may attract an additional fee of 1.5% per month applied to the outstanding balance.  Payment Methods:
